What is PRP Hair Restoration?

A natural, non-surgical solution for hair loss using platelet-rich plasma (PRP) derived from your own blood plasma. The Science Behind the Treatment

Numerous studies have shown that PRP helps increase hair density and hair follicle diameter. It is theorized that platelets release growth factors and growth signaling molecules (cytokines) that activate hair follicle stem cells, collagen synthesis, and increased blood flow to hair follicles, thus resulting in more luscious locks.

What to Expect

  • Following an in-office blood draw, platelets and plasma are separated in a centrifuge.

  • Platelet rich plasma is drawn off and injected into the scalp. Injections feel like a pinch and some pressure.

  • Downtime is minimal. You may resume normal activities directly after.
