HALO™ Laser

HALO™ is the first Hybrid Fractional Laser available for skin resurfacing. This hydrid technology creates micro laser channels and gently heat the deeper layers of skin to stimulate neocollagenesis (new collagen formation) and address the common concerns of skin laxity and uneven skin tone and texture.

 

HALO™ laser resurfacing can be used for:

  • Sun Damage

  • Unwanted hyperpigmentation (brown spots/sun spots)

  • Fine lines and wrinkles

  • Uneven texture

  • Dull skin tone

  • Enlarged pores

  • Superficial acne scaring

 

What to Expect

  • Topical numbing and cooling are provided for patient comfort

  • Minor swelling, redness and exfoliation (flaking of skin) are to be expected and may last from 5-7 days depending on the depth and concentration of the treatment performed. Patients may return to their normal activities the day after if desired.

  • You may notice a sandpaper texture and bronzing of the skin for several days as the microscopic columns begin to heal. This is normal, and signifies proper skin healing and new skin regrowth.

  • Protect your investment. It is recommended that you cover your treated skin and use sun block of SPF 30+ immediately following your treatment (rain or shine).

  • How many treatments will I need?

    • The number of treatments required varies from patient to patient, and Dr. Riemer will personalize a treatment plan based on your skin concerns.
