What is a Chemical Peel?

A chemical peel (or facial) is a medical grade solution applied topically to the skin. Utilizing a variety of concentrated active ingredients, different peel solutions result in varying depths of chemical exfoliation to reach the desired aesthetic outcome. Chemical peels can be used to target common skin concerns including: unwanted hyperpigmentation, sun damage, dull skin tone, signs of aging, and acne.

Medium Depth Corrective (TCA) Peel

  • Reduces brown spots

  • Improves texture and dull, sun damaged skin

  • Reduces fine lines and wrinkles

  • Can also be used medically to treat precancerous sun damage (actinic keratoses)

Pore Perfecting (Jessner’s) Peel

  • A lighter, “lunchtime” peel with minimal peeling and downtime

  • Restores skin brightness and a youthful, dewy glow

  • Helps to treat and prevent acne outbreaks

  • Minimizes pore size and blackheads

TCA CROSS Peel

  • A deep corrective peel used to individually target certain types of acne scars

  • Often used in combination with other acne scar treatments (laser surgery, subcision, and microneedling)

AHA Skin Brightening (Glycolic Acid) Peel

  • Gently exfoliates to remove dull skin and restore a dewy glow

  • Smooths skin texture for a more “air-brushed” finish

  • Safe on almost all skin types to reduce brown spots and unwanted hyperpigmentation

  • Reduces acne and post-acne spots
